Who We Are

Chanim was founded by two geeks with very different backgrounds.

Bronson is an Apple devotee (he doesn’t like the term ‘fan boy’) and has been for years. He appreciates great design and the finer details of both hardware and software. Bronson majored in computer science at Southern Virginia University, where he also played football (wide receiver). Bronson will choose a hamburger and fries over any meal any day.

Cory’s allegiance lies with no company in particular and while he appreciates good design, he would rather have something that may not look or feel as nice, but gets the job done the way that he wants it to. He generally prefers Android over iPhone and he prefers Mac computers (running Windows). His educational background is and will continue to be in Business Management/Administration through Utah Valley University. Though Cory has yet to try it, he assumes that when he does his favorite food will be turducken.

What To Expect

Chanim was established to be a little different from other technology news websites that you’re probably used to. Our goal is to help you make decisions that fit your personal style as well as your lifestyle. Those decisions will be centered around technology of course but we also have an ‘Unplugged’ section where we’ll discuss other topics of interest. In our reviews you won’t see us rant about phone specs. You can look that information up on the company’s product page. What you will see is a genuine review about every day usability. In that regard, we’re taking the Apple approach. We’re discussing the experience, not the specs.
